Broadcast and Theater Arts

Brownsville Middle School’s Broadcast and Theater Arts Magnet Program provides focused learning opportunities for students who are interested in the visual and performing arts.

For those fascinated with the television and radio mediums, BMS offers an on-campus, state-of-the-art television studio where students learn how to work both in front of and behind the camera. Other skills, such as digital and non-linear editing, computer graphics, and sound recording are also taught.

Students interested in the performing arts will also find this program extremely worthwhile. Here, students are taught vocal skills, music and more. Instruction takes place not just in the classroom, but also in the studio and on the stage.
