Global Studies

The challenges facing today’s world will affect tomorrow’s generations. Brownsville Middle School’s Global Studies Magnet Program strives to educate students about the world they live in so that they can be active, knowledgeable, and hopefully—influential adults.

Global Studies students learn about environmental, ecological, social, and cultural issues that are shaping our world. They explore the forces that affect our environment and what they can do locally to help make a global change.
